About Brazilian Vale Tudo Port St Lucie
When we tell the community about Brazilian Vale Tudo Port St Lucie we like to explain that it is a Martial Arts, Self Defense and Mixed Martial Arts Gym that represents what Vale Tudo (MMA) is really about. BVT was founded in 2009 under the watchful eye of Coach Lucas Morley. We are the only school in Florida that is proud and able to say we offer the best martial arts for the MMA community. We offer Self Defense, Vale Tudo (MMA), Russian Sambo, Judo, Sambo Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Boxing. Students of the BVT Academy will be eligible to rank and train in all the best martial arts system seen today in organizations like the UFC, One Fighting Championship, Bellator and others main events.
Master Koulikov grew up in Moscow, Russia and began his training in 3rd grade at SAMBO 70, the most prestigious SAMBO school in the world. Under the guidance of Sergei Vorotyagin, a national and world champion, he won and placed in two All-Soviet competitions, as well as countless regional and promotional tournaments.

Upon immigrating to the United States in 1996 and being unable to find a SAMBO gym, Master Vlad joined a grappling club where he was exposed to Jiu Jitsu. He found that his SAMBO background enhanced his Jiu Jitsu performance, and he quickly fell in love with it.
Here in the United States, Master Vlad placed three times in the USA Open and represented team USA in Combat Sambo in the World Championship in 2008. He also placed and won multiple NAGA and Grapplers Quest tournaments and was awarded the most technical fighter in the very first Grapplers Quest competition winning all his matches by submissions.

Coach Lucas is a 2X Sambo State Champion, 1X Sunshine State Champion, 2X Sambo Silver Medalist, 1X Jiu Jitsu International Champion, 1X Jiu Jitsu State Champion, 1X Jiu Jitsu National Silver Medalist, 1X Judo State Bronze Medalist.
